Dear School Nutrition Colleagues:
After LOTS of work on various angles, we achieved a major success on the editorial page of our local newspaper today ... :-) ...
The ENTIRE editorial page is devoted to student health ... with a LARGE MyPyramid graphic. It really does not get any better than this!! (The Billings Gazette is the largest paper in MT ... and it reaches neighboring communities in WY, ND and SD as well.)

I am sharing them with you for a couple of reasons:
#1: In terms of documenting the importance of the issue, it REALLY helps to have people go to the site, read the articles, and RATE THEM. You can also make comments ... but just rating them is very important to the newspaper.
#2: You may be able to use these pieces as models for similar efforts in your own communities. You have my permission to "borrow" any of the concepts or words in my guest opinion for your own use.
